Perfect dinner. Not too big nor small. Excellent wait staff & food. Enjoy each visit. Fantastic place for Diabetics- great salad choices.
I know a lot of people here in Alamance enjoy this place's food , and 9 times out of 10 it's good, guess I'm just not lucky because my food was awful. 1st our waiter was slow and acted like he couldn't understand us that well, as our meal progressed he wasn't attentive to our needs, had to ask for refills and he saw the mess up on our plates and just walked away, didn't even offer to have the cooks fix it. 2nd after waiting for what seemed like 30 minutes or more we get our food, my onion rings are on my husband's plate, I have his fries, waiter saw it,said nothing,walked away. I exchanged them myself from plate to plate, then we start to eat, I ordered pork chops, 13$ this sorry plate cost, my pork chops had so much fat on them, I was having to pull it apart with my fingers to get the meat, but to top it off, my second pork chop was raw!! I definitely couldn't eat that one, so I paid 13$ for 2 fatty pork chops, one which was raw, some over cooked onion rings, and a side salad with a toasted hamburger bun. I will never eat here again. Waste of money as far as our visit went.
I am always looking for local restaurants when I am out of town. Today I discovered Skids II and I'm so glad I did! These were the best burgers we've had in a very long time! The place was small but not small enough to seem crowded. The waitress was friendly and very attentive. It was nice to see they staff interacting behind the counter. They seemed to enjoy being there. The food was great and I will definitely be back!
